Redirect Semantics Preflight
A downloadable tool
Move redirect rules between Vercel and Netlify without hiding behavior that cannot move cleanly.
Redirect Semantics Preflight is a local, offline CLI that reads a bounded Vercel vercel.json redirect list or Netlify _redirects file, produces target configuration, and labels every rule as EXACT, LOSSY_WITH_WARNING, UNSUPPORTED, or MANUAL_CODE_REQUIRED.
Included
• Vercel JSON ↔ Netlify _redirects
• Deterministic per-rule evidence and generated target text
• Explicit 307/308 method-preservation warnings
• Fail-closed handling for conditions, force rules, unsafe order, malformed rules, and excluded grammar
• Human-readable text and structured JSON reports
• Local read-only processing; no upload, account, telemetry, subscription, or runtime network use
• Windows, macOS, and Linux with Node.js 20+
Deliberately not included
Deployment, live URL checking, SEO certification, framework/middleware analysis, GUI, hosted service, Cloudflare, Apache, nginx, or custom migration consulting.
Version 0.1.0. One-time minimum price: USD 39. Read the limitations before purchase and review every generated rule before staging or deployment.
